Indication

DmeriaTM Vet can be used for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis poultry, turkey, calf and goat caused by the following species: Poultry: E. tenella, E. brunetti, E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. necatrix & E. mitis. Turkeys: E. adenoides, E. meleagrimitis, E. meleagridis, & E. gallopavonis. Calves: E. zuernii, E. bovis, E. alabamensis. Goats: E. arloingi, E. ninakohlyakimovae, E. caprina, E. alijevi

Mode of Action

Diclazuril belongs to Benzene Acetonitriles group. Diclazuril is a potent anticoccidial drug that is effective against all Eimeria species. Diclazuril is used to preventing & controlling coccidiosis in poultry, turkey, calf and goat as well as combat and control the development of resistance to various ionophores. The stage of parasite against which DmeriaTM Vet acts in poultry is species specific. Thus in E.maxima activity is directed against zygotes and in E.brunetti against the gametocytes. It is effective against the later schizont stages of E.acervulina and both the schizonts and gametocyte of E.tenella.
