Indication

Indicated for the treatment of ascites, udder edema, pulmonary congestion, renal failure, acute non-inflammatory tissue edema etc. It also aids in the excretion of toxins or drug overdose by promoting increased urine flow.

Mode of Action

Furosemide enhances urine production by decreasing the efficiency of the sodium reabsorption process, resulting in increased water elimination from the body.
