For the treatment of severe infections caused by susceptible gram positive and gram negative bacteria including species of pseudomonas, proteus, many coliform bacilli and mycoplasma as well. Effective in enteric disease of neonates like scour and salmonellosis.

Genacyn-Vet 10 Injection is contraindicated to patients hypersensitive to Gentamicin. It is contraindicated in pregnancy and myasthenia gravis.
Genacyn Vet Inj. is a veterinary injection containing Gentamicin (100 mg/mL) from SQUARE.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Genacyn Vet Inj. in cattle is 0.04 mL/kg, given IM, IV, once daily. This dose applicable to other large animals as well. This dose preferably to be given twice for 1st day and afterwards once daily for 3-5 days or as advised by the registered veterinary doctors.

In general, the withdrawal period for Genacyn Vet Inj. is meat 12 days and milk 3 days.
