Indication

Kop-Vet® Injection is a potent, non-narcotic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, anti-pyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is indicated for the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with arthritis and musculoskeletal injuries. It is also used for the symptomatic treatment of fever. For acute clinical mastitis Kop-Vet® Injection is indicated for the alleviation of fever, pain and inflammation in conjunction with primary therapy, including antimicrobials, and supportive therapy. Kop-Vet® Injection is also used in the control of mild to moderate pain associated with colic. • US FDA approved NSAID, highly effective to alleviate pain, inflammation and fever of dairy animals. • Potent inhibitor of prostaglandin synthesis. It inhibits the biosynthesis of PGE2 and PGF2 alpha without affecting the ratio of PGE2/PGF2 alpha. • Well tolerated up to 5 times the recommended dose for periods 2 to 3 times longer than those used for treatment. • Safe in pregnancy & lactating period of cattle. • Zero withdrawal period for milk. • Rapidly and extensively detoxified and excreted.

Contraindications

The drug should not be used in animals hypersensitive to active ingredient.
