Levofloxacin is not recommended for use in combination with chloramphenicol, macrolides or tetracycline.
Levomax Vet Solution is a veterinary oral solution containing Levofloxacin Hemihydrate USP (100mg/ml) from SK+F.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Levomax Vet Solution in poultry is 0.5–1 mL/L, given orally, once daily for 3-5 days.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Levomax Vet Solution in pigeon is 0.2–0.4 mL/kg, given orally, once daily for 3-5 days.
Levomax Vet Solution is available as a pack of 500 mL at BDT 1070.00 and a pack of 100 mL at BDT 248.00.
In poultry, the withdrawal period for Levomax Vet Solution is meat 7 days and milk 7 days.
