Meglunix Vet is indicated for rapid relief of Pain, Inflammation & Fever in the following conditions: Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD), Endotoxemia, Mastitis, Metritis, Muscular fatigue, Lameness, Arthritis & Gout.
Flunixin is a potent, non-narcotic, non-steroidal agent. It is used as an analgesic, anti- inflammatory & antipyretic drug. Flunixin blocks the production of prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzyme, modifying the inflammation reaction and blocking the transmission of pain.

Do not use in animals showing hypersensitivity to Flunixin. Precautions Flunixin should not be used in animals with active GI bleeding or ulceration and drug should be given slowly when used intravenously. NSAIDS should be avoided or very carefully used in animals with liver or kidney disease.
Meglunix Vet is a veterinary injection containing Flunixin Meglumine (50 mg/mL) from Popular.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Meglunix Vet in dog is 0.02 mL/kg, given IM, IV, once daily for 3 days. 0.5 ml/ 25 Kg body weight IM/IV injection once daily; 3 days.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Meglunix Vet in cattle is 0.044 mL/kg, given IM, IV, once daily for 3 days. 2 mL/45 kg IM/IV once daily for 3 days.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Meglunix Vet in horse is 0.022 mL/kg, given IM, IV, once daily for 5 days. 1 mL/45 kg once daily for 5 days.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Meglunix Vet in buffalo is 0.044 mL/kg, given IM, IV, once daily for 3 days. 2 mL/45 kg IM/IV once daily for 3 days.
Meglunix Vet is available as a pack of 30 mL at BDT 500.00 and a pack of 10 mL at BDT 200.00.
In general, the withdrawal period for Meglunix Vet is meat 4 days and milk 1.5 days.
