Indicated for the disease of poultry caused by bacteria and mycoplasma such as Salmonellosis, Colisepticemia, CRD, Infectious Coryza, Pasteurellosis, Mycoplasmosis and secondary bacterial infection. Also for disease of fish & shrimp.
Bactericidal effect is due to its ability to inhibit the activity of bacterial enzymes DNA gyrase which is responsible for the supercoiling of bacterial DNA.

Peflox Vet is a veterinary powder containing Pefloxacin Mesylate Dihydrate (10%) from ACME.
For prevention, the recommended dose of Peflox Vet in poultry is 0.25–0.5 g/L, given orally, Continuous for 3-5 days. 1g per 2-4 liter drinking water.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Peflox Vet in poultry is 1 g/L, given orally, Continuous for 3-5 days. 1g per 1 liter drinking water.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Peflox Vet in fish is 0.05 g/kg, given orally, Daily for 3-5 days. 1g per 20 kg body weight.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Peflox Vet in shrimp is 0.05 g/kg, given orally, Daily for 3-5 days. 1g per 20 kg body weight.
In poultry, the withdrawal period for Peflox Vet is meat 7 days.
