Qtill ® S Vet is used for the treatment of respiratory infection associated with tilmicosin susceptible microorganisms in chickens and turkeys such as - • Mycoplasma spp. • Pasteurella spp. • Actinobacillus spp. • Actinomyces spp
Tilmicosin Phosphate binding with bacterial 50S ribosomal subunit and affects protein synthesis. They are typically regarded as being bacteriostatic, but at high concentrations can be bactericidal. When administered orally tilmicosin is rapidly absorbed and slowly eliminated from the body. Tilmicosin distributes rapidly to the target lung tissues as early as 6 hours and peak at about 5 days after the commencement of treatment.
