Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate is a antibiotic of pleuromutilin group. It is a prokaryotic ribosome inhibitor that acts by blocking the initiation of polypeptide chain formation, thus preventing the synthesis of key enzymes and other proteins Pharmacokinetics: • More than 90% absorption at recommended dose. • Maximum therapeutic concentration within 02 hours after administration. • 99% tiamulin excreted from blood within 48 hours. • No side effect, even in case of 03 times excess dose. • Can be administered with a number of coccidiostats. • Shows synergistic effect with tetracyclines.
