Tylvalosin is a latest macrolide antibiotic highly effective against Mycoplasma, gram positive bacteria and some gram negative bacteria. It acts by inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis. Tylvalosin has both bacteriostatic and bactericidal action; it is rapidly absorbed and diffused in tissues which is three times faster than tylosin
