Marbofloxacin is not recommended for use in the case of resistant bacteria to other Fluoroquinolones and in animals with known hypersensitivity to Marbofloxacin.
Marbo DS Vet Bolus is a veterinary bolus containing Marbofloxacin (100 mg/bolus) from SK+F.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Marbo DS Vet Bolus in dog is 2.75 mg/kg, given orally, once daily for 3 days. 1 bolus/36 kg body weight (2.75 mg/kg body weight) for 3 consecutive days.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Marbo DS Vet Bolus in cat is 2.75 mg/kg, given orally, once daily for 3 days. 1 bolus/36 kg body weight (2.75 mg/kg body weight) for 3 consecutive days.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Marbo DS Vet Bolus in cattle is 1 bolus/50klg, given orally, once daily for 3-5 days.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Marbo DS Vet Bolus in calf is 1 mg/kg, given orally, once daily for 3 days. 1 bolus/100 kg body weight for 3 consecutive days.
In cattle, the withdrawal period for Marbo DS Vet Bolus is meat 6 days and milk 1.5 days.
