Marbo® Vet is indicated for the treatment of following diseases caused by both gram positive, gram negative bacteria and mycoplasma. • Acute mastitis • Diarrhoea and gastro-enteritis • Severe respiratory infections • Neonatal gastro-enteritis caused by Escherichia coli
Marbo® Vet is bactericidal drug, actively killing bacteria by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and the topoisomerase IV enzyme, thereby inhibiting DNA replication and transcription.

Marbofloxacin is not recommended for use in the case of resistant bacteria to other Fluoroquinolones and in animals with known hypersensitivity to Marbofloxacin
Marbo Vet Bolus is a veterinary bolus containing Marbofloxacin (50 mg) from SK+F.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Marbo Vet Bolus in dog is 1 bolus/18kg, given orally, once daily for 3 days. The recommended dose is 1 mg/kg/day for 3 consecutive days.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Marbo Vet Bolus in cat is 2.75 mg/kg, given orally, once daily for 3 days. 1 bolus/18 kg body weight (2.75 mg/kg body weight) for 3 consecutive days.
For treatment, the recommended dose of Marbo Vet Bolus in calf is 1 bolus/50klg, given orally, once daily for 3 days. The recommended dose is 1 mg/kg/day for 3 consecutive days.
