Cattle, Bultalo, Sheep and Goat : Anthrax, haemorrhagic septicaemia, black quarter, rinderpest, brucellosis, pyebnephritis, calf scour, infectious enteritis, malignant edema, dysentery, pneumonia, navel ill, liver infection, abscess, mastitis, pyometra, metritis, peritonitis, kiptospirosis, infectious plauropneumonia, calf diphtheria, castration, paratyphoid, foot-rot, salmonellosis, actinomycosis, anaplasmosis and secondary infections in FMD. Dog, Cat: Pneumonia, pleurisy, bronchitis, infectious enteritis and secondary infections in distemper.
Oxytetracycline is under group of Tetracycline’s which bind to the 30s ribosomal subunit of bacterial ribosome and interfere with the binding of aminoacyl-tRNA to the mRNA molecule in ribosome complex. Thereby interfere with bacterial protein synthesis in growing or multiplying bacteria leading to bacteriostatic but higher concentration results bacteriocidal action.

Injection: 1 ml Otetra-Vet® injection is to be mixed with 3 ml of water for injection and to be administered to chicks of 1-28 days. Age group wise daily dose: 1st day up to 2 weeks: 0.5 ml per bird(diluted). 2-4 weeks: 1 ml per bird (diluted). 4-8 weeks: 0.5 ml per bird. Above 8 weeks: 1 ml per bird. Adult: 2 ml per bird.
Do not administer by the intravenous route in the dog. Do not administer by the subcutaneous route in the horse.
