Acts on bacteria cell wall => Inhibit transpeptidase => Hamper cross linkage (Peptidoglycan layer) of rapidly multiplying organisms => Call wall deficit is produced => Hyper-Osmotic environment is in the anterior of bacteria => Due to the action of autolysin/murein swelling and bursting occur => Death of bacteria (Bactericidal activity)
