This broad-spectrum anthelmintic is utilized to treat helminth infections in livestock, including cattle, buffaloes, sheep, and goats. It effectively treats acute, sub-acute, and chronic fascioliasis caused by all life stages (early immature, immature, and adult) of Fasciola hepatica and Fasciola gigantica. Furthermore, the medication targets major ruminant parasites, including Haemonchus and Ostertagia in the abomasum; Cooperia, Trichostrongylus, and Bunostomum in the small intestine; Oesophagostomum and Trichuris in the large intestine; and Dictyocaulus spp. in the lungs. It is also highly effective against eye worms (Thelazia) in cattle. Levamisole acts as a cholinergic agent that stimulates the ganglia and depolarizes the muscle tissue of the worm. This dual action paralyzes the parasites, leaving them unable to maintain their grip within the gastrointestinal tract, which results in them being naturally expelled from the host. Triclabendazole is an advanced benzimidazole derivative that demonstrates high efficacy against liver flukes at every life stage, from one-day-old juveniles to mature adults. Benzimidazoles function by binding to beta-tubulin, an essential structural protein, thereby preventing the polymerization of tubulin into microtubules. This disruption severely impairs the cellular integrity and transport mechanisms of the parasite, ultimately resulting in its death.

Alternatively, administer exactly as directed by a registered veterinarian.
