DoubledexTM Vet bolus contains two ideal anthelmintics like Triclabendazole & Levamisole. Triclabendazole acts against mature and immature flukes specially against liver flukes (Fascioliosis). It binds to the beta tubulin of the parasites and blocks polymerization of tubulin into microtubules. The process damages the integrity and transport functions of cells within the parasite and ultimately the parasite dies. Levamisole is an ideal broad spectrum anthelmintic that acts against respiratory and intestinal round worms. It causes lysis of worms by neuromuscular paralysis. Moreover, it acts as an immunomodulator.
