Severe hepatic or renal impairment; blood dyscrasias; sulfonamide hypersensitivity.
Crystalluria if water intake is poor; bone marrow suppression on prolonged use; keratoconjunctivitis sicca in dogs.
Use with care — folate antagonism has been associated with foetal abnormality at high doses.
